Canteen Cook - Full-time position available at St Mary''s Catholic Primary School, Darwin St Marys Primary School, situated in the heart of Darwin City, has an approximate enrolment of 200 students. Position Overview We are seeking a Canteen Cook to provide efficient and effective day-to-day food service for our Primary School, Early Learning Centre, and OSHC programs. The successful candidate will: Maintain a clean, hygienic workspace in line with WHS requirements. Work independently and as part of a team. Collaborate with staff, parents, and children to develop and modify menus. Work within a specified budget. Be competent in food preparation and adaptable to changes in recipes, menus, and methods of food preparation. Communicate effectively and be team-oriented. Liaise with all levels of the school community, including students, staff, and volunteers. Role description is available upon request. Qualifications and Requirements Commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education. Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice OCHRE Card prior to commencement. Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment. This position involves working with children.
