We are seeking motivated and energetic individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional service at a range of high-end conferences and exclusive events hosted at our world-class venue.Deliver outstanding customer service to guests during conferences and eventsWork with your team to set conference rooms promptly and accurately to the specifications described on the function sheetsEnsure client expectations are met, delivering food and beverage service that exudes luxury and aligns with Sofitel brand standardsTake responsibility for your designated rooms or sections during serviceEnsure all food and beverages requirements are delivered on time and as specifiedServe food and beverages in a professional and timely mannerMaintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all service areasCollaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth event executionAddress guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteouslyAdhere to all food safety and responsible alcohol service guidelinesParticipate in pre-event briefings and post-event debriefingsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentProven experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a conference or events settingExcellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanorStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentTeamwork-oriented with a positive attitudeFlexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 poundsResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (required)Food Safety Certification (preferred)Problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feetKnowledge of hospitality industry practices is a plusAdditional InformationBring passion and dedication to excellence, and we will recognise your contribution with a variety of benefits, rewards and development opportunities.
