Kingfisher Bay Resort is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Steward to join our team on beautiful K''gari in a live-on island arrangement. As a Kitchen Steward at Kingfisher Bay Resort, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities. Your main responsibilities will include washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and assisting with food preparation as needed. This role offers the unique opportunity to live and work in a stunning natural environment, surrounded by the beauty of K''gari (Paradise). This is a live-on, Permanent Part-Time position with an hourly rate of $29.39. About You Previous experience in a similar role, preferred but not required Knowledge of all cleaning requirements in the back of house kitchen area Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to take direction Key Role Requirements Ensure that all food and beverage outlets are provided with clean and sanitised operating equipment Follow correct safe handling techniques to transport and store food items Wipe down benches, mop floors, and remove rubbish from multiple outlets Take pride in your customer service abilities to ensure our guests experience on island is memorable!
