The Inspirations Paint Store at Penrith is looking for an enthusiastic full time Paint Sales Assistant, to work Monday to Friday.Relevant personal experience in home improvement projects or within the paint or hardware industries is an advantage.The position is available for immediate start and will include ongoing industry leading training, Award wages and a uniform. Business hours are 6:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am to 2:00pm Saturday.Responsibilities include:Providing an exceptional customer experience to our retail and trade customersTinting & mixing paintFollowing the "Inspirations Way"Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge in the areas of paint and protective coatings, while assisting with sales, stock control and merchandisingAssist with any deliveries as requiredPractice safe and correct manual handlingStore presentation, stock management, housekeepingEnsuring Workplace Health & Safety requirements are metThis role involves frequent heavy lifting and carrying, and some heavy lifting over 23kgsExperience / AttributesDemonstrated customer service with personalised customer focusWell presented both in appearance and communicationAble to contribute and work in a team environmentProven sales experience and a strong knowledge of paint and associated productsApproachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or customer complaintsAttention to detail, initiative and the ability to learn new systemsAbility to load and unload vehicles within safety guidelinesHonest, reliable and punctualCurrent valid driver''s licence - must be able to drive a manual vehicleIf you are an enthusiastic and motivated team player with a can-do attitude, this is your opportunity and we would like to hear from you.How do your skills match this job?How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:Do you have customer service experience?
