Groote Eylandt is home to the Anindilyakwa people, who are the traditional owners of the land and have been working alongside GEMCO since 1963.WHAT SOUTH32 OFFERS26 weeks full-paid, or 52 weeks half-paid parental leave for primary carersAbility to purchase up to 4 weeks of additional annual leaveThe opportunity to become a shareholder of South32 through our share plansOptions for additional superannuation contributionsExcellent facilities including gym, beachside workout area, swimming pool, golf course, tennis and squash courts, sports oval, and scenic walking tracksABOUT THE ROLEThis role is a Permanent position on a 4:3 Monday to Thursday roster, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns.As the Parts Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting safe and effective maintenance by coordinating, consolidating and managing materials for planned works.Other key responsibilities include, but aren''t limited to:Consolidate materials and allocate parts for scheduled workMonitor stock levels and flag shortfalls or unused itemsMaintain material tracking tools and update Master DataOperate forklift & maintain clean, organised workspacesABOUT YOUYou will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:Working in warehouse or maintenance support roles within a teamManaging time, meeting deadlines and prioritising effectivelyBuilding strong relationships and solving operational issuesUsing systems such as MS Office and preferably 1SAPQualifications for this position are:Current Open Driver''s LicenceForklift Licence (highly desirable)South32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
