If youre ready to be part of an ambitious team reshaping the freight future, we want to hear from youAbout the roleWere on the lookout for a proactive and eager-to-learn Finance & Accounting Assistant to support our growing Finance team across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and core accounting functions.This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent accounting graduate whos ready to roll up their sleeves and make an impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Youll gain broad exposure, be supported by experienced mentors, and play a hands-on role in the day-to-day running of our finance operations.What youll be doingAccounts Payable (AP): Support invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and timely payments while ensuring adherence to internal controls.Accounts Receivable (AR): Assist with customer invoicing, payment allocation, and follow-ups on outstanding balances.Performance Analysis: Help track financial KPIs, prepare variance analysis, and assist in monthly business reviews.Month-End Reporting: Assist with month-end close activities including preparation of P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, helping to identify inefficiencies and support automation or system enhancements.Support ad hoc projects and tasks across the Finance team as needed.About youYouve recently completed a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldYoure keen to start or are already working towards your CPA or CAYou have strong attention to detail and a basic understanding of accounting principlesYoure confident using Excel and open to learning new systemsYoure organised, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions or offer ideasYou enjoy working with others and can communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance colleaguesYoure based in Sydney and have full working rights in AustraliaAt Ofload we prioritise impact, aptitude and passion, so wed encourage you to apply if you do not meet all the above criteria.
