For more information, visit centurioncorp.com.sg.An exciting opportunity has become available at our Adelaide property for an Evening Duty Manager (EDM) to join the Dwell team, reporting directly to the Accommodation Manager.We are seeking a responsible, customer servicefocused individual who is also safety- and security-minded. This role requires availability to work from late afternoon through to late evening, with occasional early morning shifts.As the Evening Duty Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Accommodation Manager in the day-to-day operations of the site. You will help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for our residents, assist in incident management, provide reception support, and contribute to the smooth running of the property.This is an excellent opportunity for career progression, particularly suited to someone looking for a stepping stone into an Assistant Manager role.Key Responsibilities Include:Supporting operational tasks such as coordinating staff rosters and shift allocation, maintenance requests, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standardsManaging check-ins and check-outsResponding to resident enquiries and concerns in a timely and professional mannerHandling incidents with professionalism, ensuring accurate reporting and follow-upProviding a consistent, approachable presence for residents and visitors after hoursAt least 2 years'' experience in a pastoral care, security, or operational role within environments such as student accommodation, aged care, hospitals, or universitiesDemonstrated experience in customer service, handling resident feedback, and resolving disputesStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people from diverse cultural backgroundsA team-focused mindset, with maturity, discretion, and sound judgementProficient in Microsoft Office and general computer literacyAbility to investigate, document, and report incidents accuratelyKnowledge of security procedures, emergency protocols, and risk mitigationExperience managing safety and compliance in line with SOPsExperience in operational coordination including:Maintenance, housekeeping, and vendor servicesSite inspections, risk assessments, and auditsStaff rosters and shift allocationBudget tracking and KPI reportingCurrent National Police CheckCurrent Working with Children CheckCurrent First Aid CertificateHighly Desirable Criteria:Experience in student accommodation, hospitality, or hotel sectorsOperational knowledge of resident management systems (preferably StarRez)Familiarity with university life and the needs of young adult residentsUnderstanding of relevant legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act, OH&S, privacy, and workplace regulationsPerks and Benefits:A paid day off on your birthdaySupportive, team-oriented work environmentOngoing training and development opportunitiesStaff events and recognition programsCentral Adelaide location near public transport, cafes, and shopsDwell East End offers an attractive Total Fixed Remuneration (TFR) package, inclusive of employer superannuation contributions.To Apply:Please submit your cover letter, current CV, and any supporting documents addressed to the Accommodation Manager.Applications close: 5.00pm on Monday, 16 June 2025.Please note:Only candidates with the right to work in Australia on an unrestricted and unlimited basis will be consideredNo agency submissions, pleaseOnly direct applications will be reviewedHow do your skills match this job?How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
