About the Role Based at our Parts dealership in Warrnambool, representing iconic truck brands such as Kenworth, DAF, and Hino, the Parts Interpreter will utilize mechanical and parts knowledge to assist our customers, providing high-quality customer service both over the phone and at the sales counter. Duties & Responsibilities Interpret and dispatch parts orders and inquiries accurately and promptly, maintaining precise transaction records. Provide expert advice regarding parts information to customers. Manage retail, wholesale, and internal parts sales efficiently. Follow up on customer back orders. Promote specials and upsell where appropriate. Pick orders for over-the-counter sales and other required tasks. Adhere to WHS policies and procedures. Skills & Experience Qualifications and/or previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, ideally within the heavy vehicle industry, though not essential. Excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure within a team environment with a positive attitude. High attention to detail and pride in work quality. Familiarity with parts inventory systems. Mechanical aptitude. Proficiency in computer literacy.
