Reporting to the Industrial Sales Manager, you will play a key role in fostering an already defined customer portfolio along with developing new client relationships. You will channel sales opportunities through the customer contact center, ensuring high-quality customer service is consistently delivered. The successful candidate will have strong experience in sales and be confident in engaging with stakeholders across the Far North and North-West QLD regions. This full-time permanent position will be based out of Townsville; however, there will be mandatory travel required throughout a specified North Queensland region. What''s in it for you? We are looking for someone who can: Utilize their experience in the industrial sector to maintain and build relationships, drive growth, and increase market share Leverage existing contacts or knowledge in the industry to strengthen partnerships and open doors for new opportunities Report back to our R&D team on new product development opportunities and continual improvement offerings based on market feedback The successful candidate will have (Qualifications & Experience): At least 5 years of previous experience in a similar role Prior experience in the paint marking and/or industrial consumable market (desirable) Knowledge and understanding of market and business development Experience working towards KPIs Connections within the industrial sector (desirable) Bachelor of Business/Marketing/Sales degree or similar field (desirable) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong communication (verbal and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills including the ability to persuade and influence others Excellent business development skills with a proven record of growing customer and product markets from infancy, cultivating established customer segments in industrial or similar markets Computer literate with intermediate Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new software applications Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive workplace culture Who we are: Dy-Mark Australia Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer and distributor of top-quality specialised marking paints and coatings.
