A great opportunity for a Electronics Technician to join our fully geared Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Bandiana VIC. This is not your typical assembly line Electronics Technician role. This unique position allows you to step away from the work bench and into the field completing fault tracing and part replacement on Defence weapons and vehicles. Within this role, you will gain experience working on control systems that only working with Defence can offer. Benefits $46.09 an hour plus super Work 38 hours per week Monday to Friday, finishing at 12 pm on Fridays Training & Upskilling provided Relocation assistance for the right candidate Work on unique Defence vehicles and assets 17.5% Annual Leave Loading All tools, PPE, and uniforms provided On-site parking About The Role Perform system checks on weapons & vehicles, communications, combat management systems, and sensor equipment to ensure equipment is in full working order Diagnose electronic faults and repair to ensure smooth operations Adhere to all regulatory and contract-specific requirements Gain exposure to various systems including RADAR, Surveillance and Control Equipment, and Satellite equipment (GPS, SATCOM) About You Minimum requirement: Cert III Electronics or Cert III Electronic Technology Knowledge and practical experience with complex communication and/or electronic systems maintenance, support, design, or installation Strong mechanical and electronic/electrical aptitude You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance About Ventia Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company operating across Australia and New Zealand.
