About the Role: Hoka is a consumer-driven brand within the Accent Brands division. We operate with a brand-first mentality, which enhances our merchandise and sales strategy, positioning Hoka as the leading premium performance brand within the ANZ marketplace. The Community Lead is a dynamic, community-focused role responsible for fostering relationships within the running community across Australia & New Zealand. This team member will play an integral part in building strong connections with run clubs, local KOLs, brand activations, podiatry, medical communities, and staff training. A natural ambassador for the brand, the Community Lead will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance the runner''s experience and elevate Hokas presence in the community. This is not a Monday-Friday, 9-5 job. It is a role that operates when the running community is activeduring evenings, weekends, events, and runs. You will need to be adaptable, energetic, and deeply passionate about bringing joy, inspiration, and support to the runners you serve. The Community Lead will represent Hoka as a dedicated advocate for wellness, performance, and inclusivity in the running world. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing Podiatry & medical technical networks & related brand strategies Overseeing Hoka staff training initiatives across retail and wholesale partners Activating and driving Hoka presence at weekly run clubs across VIC, SA & WA Managing key community activations of various scales Collaborating with the marketing team to create and edit community content for multiple channels Driving Hoka KOL engagement from seeding to product testing Ensuring brand activation outside of standard working hours when runners are most active To succeed in this role, you will need: A sound understanding of technical footwear Strong brand marketing experience and community activation skills Collaborative spirit with marketing and sales teams Confidence speaking to various audiences Ability to work with diverse customer levels from shop floor to brand partners Content creation and editing skills, especially via phone Willingness to work outside traditional hours At Accent Group Limited, we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that values diversity.
