This candidate will play a critical role in providing professional restructuring, forensic, and corporate advisory services. As part of the role, you will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, strategise to solve business issues, and implementing plans to achieve business objectives.This is full time role with a fantastic opportunity for aspiring accountants to gain a wealth of experience in multiple accounting disciplines.Primary ResponsibilitiesRestructuring and turnaround Assist in the development and implementation of turnaround plans, working closely with the team to improve financial stability, optimise operations, and improve outcomes.Financial analysis Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of companies, including interrogation of financial statements, management accounts, and business records. The candidate will identify key financial issues, model potential outcomes, and determine strategies to assist with business performance.Corporate Advisory Utilise financial analysis skills to conduct due diligence reviews, risk management assessments, and business valuations. Oversee and assist with corporate transactions.Operational management Conduct risk assessments, cash flow forecasts, and financial models to assist with the decision-making process. Preparation of stakeholder reports, appropriate taxation obligations, and regulatory requirements.Collaboration Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external members, including legal practitioners, tax experts, and other professional advisors to deliver solutions.Skills and ExperienceMinimum of 1 year experienceBachelor''s degree in business accounting, finance, or business law (preferred).Sound analytical and problem-solving skills. A strong understanding of financial statements, financial analysis techniques, and accounting principles assists with devising solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate will engage with stakeholders, prepare reports, and present complex financial information in a sensible manner.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MYOB / Xero electronic accounting software.What we OfferSalary: Between $73,000 - $80,000 plus super (depending on experience)Stimulating, significant, and rewarding work which requires application of a varied skillset.
