Globally, Savills has been introducing innovations to market and delivering exceptional service to clients for over 160 years.About the OpportunityDue to business growth, a unique opportunity exists for a full time Assistant Facilities Manager to join Savills South Australian Asset Management team, based in Adelaide CBD. Working across a portfolio of retail and office buildings, this role will see you grow and develop your skills within Facilities Management, under the mentorship of an experienced Facilities Manager.Key responsibilities:Ensure contractor compliance on managed sites with induction processes and WHS requirementsIn conjunction with the Facilities Manager, monitor repairs and maintenance against set outgoings budgets with Property Manager approvalEnsure that tenants requests are attended to and addressed in a timely mannerAssist the Facilities Manager in completing Facility Management reports as required and agreed with the Property ManagerParticipate in site specific audit programs, ensuring identified risks are closed out in a timely mannerConduct property inspectionsAssist with arranging maintenance requests and quotes while providing recommendationsEnsure the maintenance and upkeep of the property presentation in accordance with clients requirementsHelp identify opportunities for the project management of capital works across the portfolio and work with the Property Manager as required on life cycle managementUndertake tasks/issues on behalf of Management as and when they arise, and assist other team members when and if necessaryWhat Sets You ApartPrevious experience within Facilities or Property Management idealTrade background with an interest in Facilities Management will also be consideredExperience dealing with contractors beneficialStrong tenant focusStrategic approach to problem solvingExcellent time management and organisational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEnergetic, ambitious and motivatedWhat Sets Us ApartWe actively seek out people who possess that rare mix of work ethic, rock solid integrity and attentiveness to client needs.
