Join to apply for the Finance Support Officer role at Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action.The Finance Support Officer (FSO) is centrally located within the Office of the CEO and provides accounts payable, financial, and general finance services support to teams across Resources Victoria. The FSO plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of day-to-day finance support services, focusing on accounts payable management, procurement, contract support, and other finance activities.Specialist/Technical Expertise/QualificationsDemonstrated experience with software applications, including high proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, financial management systems such as ORACLE Cloud, and the Contract Management System (Zycus).Experience in managing accounts payable functions, preferably using ORACLE.Strong administrative and time management skills, with attention to detail and experience in providing accurate and timely business support, ideally in a government setting.A relevant tertiary qualification in business or accountancy is desirable.This is an ongoing position based at 8 Nicholson Street, Melbourne, with hybrid work arrangements available.Applicants are encouraged to submit a resume and a cover letter (no longer than 2 pages) summarizing their skills and experience.For more information, refer to the attached position description.Applications close at midnight on Tuesday, 27th May 2025.Other Relevant InformationPre-employment screening, including a Declaration and Consent form and a National Police Check, will be required for preferred candidates.Applicants must have work rights for the employment period.
