As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for purchasing of product for stock and or for client projects, supplier price update and general inventory and dispatch control management.Irribiz is a leading Australian company specialising in providing high-quality industrial equipment, components, and water solutions. With over Four decades of experience, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for businesses across various industries including construction, manufacturing, agriculture, protected cropping and more.Job DescriptionReporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:Purchasing of goodsCollate and organise all import documentation for shipments for imported productsDispatch internal and external orders and reconcile freight chargesObtaining freight quotations as required from domestic and international shipping companiesPicking, packing and verifying materials before materials go to siteGeneral inventory control and managementTo be successful for this position you will have:Excellent phone mannerGreat organisational and customer service skillsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenSound computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and growAn ability to work in a team environment as well as working with minimal supervisionA friendly and energetic personalityA reliable and positive attitudeIf you are a dynamic and results-oriented individual with keen attention to detail we want to hear from you.
