If so, this is your opportunity to live, work and play a short drive from stunning coastlines, scenic trails and the food and wine heartland of the west.Located in the picturesque south-west and Peel regions of Western Australia, South32 Worsley Alumina is on a journey to become the worlds leading Alumina producer where our 1500 workforce value the lifestyle that Worsley Alumina has to offer.Our integrated Bauxite Mine, Alumina Refinery and Port Operation is creating the essential products needed for a sustainable low carbon future.WHAT SOUTH32 OFFERSCompetitive salaries including Short-Term Incentive BonusAdditional employer superannuation contributions which depend on the level of employee contributions you choose.Participation in the Employee Share PlanAbility to purchase up to 4 weeks of additional annual leaveABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the Superintendent Electrical Maintenance, the purpose of theElectrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor Maintenancerole is to lead a team of maintenance electrical/instrument technicians to ensure the safe, cost effective and productive execution of maintenance and scheduled work activities to support the operations at Worsley Alumina Refinery.This role will be offered on a Permanent basis working a Day Shift roster 4 x 10-hour days per week.This role will be based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.As there is no accommodation on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hours drive of Collie.Key responsibilities are, but not limited to:Oversee all aspects of electrical maintenance execution activities within your area of responsibility.Duties under your appointment as a Statutory appointed Electrical SupervisorEnsure electrical work is conducted safely by competent electrical personnel in accordance with the relevant standards and operating procedures and relative legislative requirements.Delivery of safe outcomes through safety leadership, in-field coaching and application of procedures and policiesGuide and coach individual team members to build a high performing teamABOUT YOUCurrently or can be appointed a statutory supervisor under Schedule 26Deep knowledge of electrical maintenance activities for industrial equipment including VSDs, conveyors, pumps, control valves, level and flow transmitters, radiation density devices, PLCs and safety management systems.Demonstrated ability to develop, coach and mentor employees resulting in improved engagement, performance and efficiency.Intermediate proficiency in computer applications such as SAP, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Qualifications for this position are:Trade Certificate as Electrician and WA unrestricted electrical licensePreferable qualifications as Instrument Fitter or Cert IV in InstrumentationPossess significant supervisory experience in a refinery maintenance environment.OUR CULTUREAt South32, our people are fundamental to our success.
