Our Client, an Australian based Phase I-II clinical trial site are seeking a Proposals Manager for an initial 12-month maternity cover opening.Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) the role will manage 4 Senior/Proposal Associates and work cross functionally across the organisation, including their additional business arm focusing on late phase community trials.The overall purpose of the role will be to hold responsibility for the proposals and competitive bidding process including budgeting.Role Responsibilities:Oversee the budget and proposal process, ensuring adequate team resources and timely responses to business opportunities.Collaborate with the BD team to develop client-focused proposals, meet with potential clients, and manage service pricing.Maintain and refine CRM tools, gather competitive intelligence, and act as deputy for the CBDO during absences to ensure continuity in business development operations.Maintain strong relationships with key partners and provide support by ensuring study budgets align with protocol changes and project progress.Contribute to continuous improvement by ensuring effective budgeting and proposals processes.Support staff development and performance by engaging in clinical research learning, and participating in SOP updates, team meetings, and training initiatives.Required experience:Tertiary qualification in health or science related disciplineExtensive experience and knowledge in the clinical trials process including substantial exposure to budgeting.Ability to work to standards, protocols, and regulations, including ICH GCPManagement experience highly desirableAbility to interact with senior stakeholders internally and externally.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and writtenStrong negotiation and influencing skills.Please contact Angela Barclay on 0415 508 607 for a confidential discussion and to gain additional information. #J-18808-Ljbffr
