The successful candidate will have a strong background in bricklaying and masonry and will be a qualified bricklayer, with excellent leadership skills and good attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.Team Leadership: Lead and supervise teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. Provide guidance and support to team members.Quality Control: Monitor work progress and quality, conducting regular site inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and building codes. Implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain quality standards.Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of materials and labour. Procure necessary materials and equipment, maintaining inventory and ensuring timely delivery to the site.Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on-site. Conduct regular safety meetings to promote a safe working environment.Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Provide regular updates on project status, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.Problem Solving: Identify potential challenges or delays and implement proactive solutions to keep the project on track.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, change orders, and progress reports.
