Responsibilities include reviewing and revising strategies for large-scale catastrophe claims, ensuring effective response and efficient claims processing during catastrophic events, and analyzing past response efforts for improvements.Review and revise catastrophe management plans for comprehensive coverage and applicabilityStreamline procedures and workflows for claims processing during catastrophesUpdate and refine catastrophe management documentationModify training programs for agencies to ensure preparednessDevelop reports on Elders claims data related to catastrophic eventsEnsure compliance with industry regulations and policiesAbout youYou should have strong knowledge of insurance claims operations, risk management, disaster recovery, and excellent communication skills.
