Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: EmployeeLocation- Sydney/ Melbourne/Adelaide/Brisbane/PerthType- Fixed Term Opportunity (6 months)Hybrid work, Happy to talk flexible workingThe OpportunityIn this role, you will review and revise the Elders Insurance Claims Catastrophe Plan, preparing the agency network for potential catastrophes by developing or modifying strategies to maintain customer service levels and quickly restore operations.Your new roleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to assess and update the Elders Claims Catastrophe Plan. You will be responsible for reviewing and revising strategies to handle large-scale catastrophe claims, ensuring effective response and efficient claims processing during catastrophic events. This also involves analysing the effectiveness of past catastrophe response efforts and identify areas for improvement.You will:Review and revise the Elders and QBE catastrophe management plan for comprehensive coverage, adaptability, and applicability across industries.Streamline procedures and workflows for efficient claims processing during catastrophes, collaborating with relevant teams and coordinating with QBE stakeholders.Update and refine catastrophe management documentation, including protocols, procedures, and communication strategies, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.Modify training programs for Agencies to ensure preparedness, continuously analysing past responses for improvement and staying informed on industry trends and regulations.Develop reports tracking and analysing Elders claims data related to catastrophic events, assessing financial impact and operational efficiency, and preparing detailed report templates for senior management.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in catastrophe claim handling, collaborating with QBE teams to address disputes and challenges.About you:To be successful in this role, you will have strong knowledge of insurance claims operations, risk management, and disaster recovery planning, along with the ability to collaborate across departments to provide a seamless experience for customers and agencies.
