In this role, you will:Utilise an ERP system to reconcile, report, analyse, and interpret financial data within a subunit of our Finance Department.Be part of a supportive team that encourages professional growth and provides clear career progression.Have access to training programs designed to enhance your skills and advance your career.Key AccountabilitiesReview and maintain General Ledger accounts.Complete timely and accurate reconciliations.Meet internal and statutory reporting deadlines and lodgement dates.Ensure internal controls, and checklists are followed.Oversee coding of purchase orders and credit card transactions.Assist relevant managers with budget development and provide ongoing analysis.Ensure fixed assets are correctly approved, obtained, disposed of, depreciated, and reconciled.Undertake internal audits and escalate findings to the line manager.Provide support to external auditors including preparation of interim and annual audit files.Mentor and develop Finance Officers who report to this position.Be a champion of the ALPA values and demonstrate a commitment to work health and safety.Participate in departmental and company-wide projects as directed.What Were Looking ForUndergraduate qualification in Commerce, Accounting, or Business is essential.Experience in supervising direct reports is essential.Intermediate to advanced excel skills.Strong financial data interpretation and analysis skills.Experience within an Enterprise Resource Planning software environment.Whats on Offer5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading.Supportive company culture and clear career path in a growing division.Ability to travel to remote First Nations communities.Free and confidential access to employee assistance programs.Free domestic & international travel insurance.Free parking onsite. #J-18808-Ljbffr
