Our OpportunityWork Location: Port Hedland - PortFortescues Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.Roster: 4D/3R FIFO from Perth or ResidentialYou will provide HR advice and support to the HR Manager, management team, and employees across employee relations, industrial relations, performance management, employee engagement and retention, recruitment, record keeping and reporting, training and development, including succession planning.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with leadership teams to ensure the effective implementation and management of Fortescue People policies, practices, and procedures that promote an optimal working environment and reinforce Fortescues culture and values.Provide high-level coaching and mentoring to leaders and the workforce.Support leaders with organisational reviews as required.Drive the implementation of Fortescue People initiatives in line with agreed timelines.Initiate, manage, and contribute to major Fortescue People reports, projects, committees, reviews, and continuous improvement activities.Support and facilitate leadership development training.Qualifications and ExperienceTertiary qualification in human resources, employee relations, or a related field.Demonstrated experience in a Senior HR generalist role covering IR/ER, performance management, organisational development, and HR reporting.Ability to effectively communicate, promote, and uphold Fortescue People initiatives and company values with discretion and confidentiality.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including interviewing, counselling, negotiating, and report writing.Well-developed organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage own workload.About UsBe part of something big.
