In this role, you will oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately, in line with compliance standards and business deadlines. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Excel and SAP, and preferably experience in a retail environment. The Role Responsibilities include: Managing the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice processing to payment runs. Reviewing and verifying invoices and payment requests. Preparing and processing EFT, BPay, and cheque payments. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies. Ensuring timely month-end close, including accruals and journal entries. Supporting audits and ensuring adherence to internal controls. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve queries. Assisting with process improvement initiatives to streamline AP functions. Utilizing strong Excel skills for reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis. Using SAP S/4HANA for day-to-day AP operations and reporting. Skills and Experience At least 5 years of experience in a high-volume accounts payable role. Proven track record of accurate and timely financial processing. Strong understanding of AP systems, compliance, and accounting principles. Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, COUNTIF). High attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
