In recent times KBC has gone through significantgrowth and there is a need to continue this ministry, particularly amongst young families.EducationFacilitate an appropriate curriculum for Kids Church and provide devotional and trainingresources for families to aid their faith development and growth as disciples of Jesus,Help children say yes to Jesus.Growth and MissionFacilitate our Toddler Jam Ministry, a weekly community based program. These are musiciansLeadership & Pastoral CareContribute as an active and central member of the Ministry Team and KBC community,Provide input into helping services be more relational, creative and children inclusive,Identify, recruit, train and support current and new leaders/volunteers for ministries includingKids Church, Youth Group, Creche,In consultation with the Pastoral Team, assist with support for parents with children. May includevisitation in times of major life events (e.g. dropping off gifts to newborns, checking in with newConnect and follow up with Kids Church familiesSensitivity and ability to escalate complex spiritual or pastoral concerns to the Senior Pastor oracting Senior Pastor as needs arise.CultureThe Ministry Team at KBC is highly relational and appreciates a good sense of humour,resilience and a growth mindset. There will be opportunity for prayer, theological and biblicaldiscussion, an anticipation that you will want to grow as a leader, and KBC will help with this.We love hospitality, enjoying a hot drink together and discussing which is the best biscuit.The Pastoral team is present and available and as a member of the Ministry Team you willbenefit from a team value of undistracting excellence, authenticity and good communication.This role is 1.5 days a week with an expectation that you will attend the morning serviceat KBC.
