Immediate StartMelbourne CBD locationAbout the roleGovernment agency seeks an experienced Business Assurance Program Delivery Manager to join them on short-term assignment for a duration of up to a period of 6 months based in Melbourne CBD. As the Business Assurance Program Delivery Manager, you will provide leadership and strategic advice on programs of work underpinning the organisation''s Enterprise Risk Management framework and Enterprise Business Continuity Management Framework.Key dutiesYour key tasks and responsibilities will include:Leading quality assurance around all program design and implementation spanning both risk and business continuity, delivered by Business Assurance to build internal capability and ensure that risk and business continuity practice is embedded into core programs that support strategic and leadership decision making.Providing guidance and support to the risk and business continuity functions within the Business Assurance Directorate to lift team capability in their delivery of the risk and business continuity programs, with a specific focus on building internal business continuity exercise capability across the organisation.Provide timely and specialist advice and recommendations relating to the risk and business continuity program, including oversight on quality Executive reporting.Provide guidance and support to the Director on opportunities to further embed the risk management framework including:identifying and managing current and emerging risks, (both internal and external facing risks) that inform strategic and business planninglifting the organisation''s risk culture and engagement with risk as an opportunity to support business objectives.Use modern program delivery methodology to build and strengthen cross functional teams to embed risk and business continuity maturity. Track, monitor and deliver the program benefits.Manage a team of risk, business continuity and governance subject matter experts; conduct monthly reviews and retrospectives. Utilise the retrospectives to continuously improve delivery capabilities to meet organisational outcomes.Key Selection CriteriaThe skills and experience you will need to demonstrate include:5+ years'' experience leading programs covering enterprise risk, business continuity, and/or governance; working in government, industry / consulting / advisory fields.Experience working in an industrialised environment is desirable.QualificationsTertiary qualification in strategic leadership, business continuity, risk and/or governance.Membership to relevant Professional Institutes or MBA in related discipline is desirable.How to applyPlease apply online using the appropriate link below forwarding a copy of your resume and cover letter highlighting your business assurance experience, your experience in Risk Management and Enterprise Business Continuity Management frameworks and your suitability for the role.
