About the role Due to our continuous growth, we are seeking a System Engineer based at our newly built Automated Distribution Centre in Truganina, with a hybrid work arrangement that includes at least one onsite day per week. Reporting to the Head of Merch & Supply Chain Technology, you will leverage your expertise in Warehouse Automation and Control Systems, including shuttle systems, robotics, and conveyor systems. You will manage systems responsible for executing physical logistics, including International Shipping, Distribution Centre Storage and Handling, and Transport to Store. Your main responsibility is to analyze and define system requirements, focusing on improvements and defect fixes to enhance business efficiency. You will oversee the full application management lifecycle, including monitoring system performance to optimize software functionality. About you We seek a candidate with a customer-centric mindset, capable of understanding issues, consulting, and advising on solutions aligned with design and security standards. Excellent communication skills are essential for managing expectations, gaining agreement, and resolving conflicts. In addition, you should have: Experience with Warehouse Automation systems, robotics, and control systems. Technical software management experience, including implementing and testing new software versions. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new systems and collaborate with team members. Willingness to learn managing complex systems, processes, and configurations. Experience in problem and incident management, and monitoring service delivery metrics. A tertiary qualification in IT, computer science, business, or similar, and ITIL certification are preferred but not mandatory. Experience with supply chain IT systems and related business-technology challenges.
