Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$121,000.00/yr - A$137,000.00/yrFull time fixed term until 13th April 2026Excellent learning opportunity with exposure to a variety of interesting technologiesBase Salary from $121,508 + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityThe Mulesoft API Developer is a subject matter expert in the university, who works with the Integration Development Practice Manager, Integration Team members, architects, and various business stakeholders to develop and implement integration solutions that support the University''s mission and vision.Your key responsibilities will be to:utilise your strong knowledge and experience with the MuleSoft product suite as well as experience in detailed requirements analysis, software design, development, testing, and deployment to support the University''s digital transformation journey by implementing MuleSoft technology for Enterprise Integration and API Management needsidentify, analyse, and develop interface and integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint platform including Mule Runtime, Connectors, Design Center and API Managerdevelop, enhance, debug, maintain, and test integrations that support business units or supporting functionsprovide enterprise integration services to project teams through agreed-upon iterations and phasescollaborate with external developers to coordinate and work in parallel in the delivery of integration solutionsstay current in new IT technologies to maintain a high level of subject matter expertise.About yousolid experience with MuleSoft 4.X and with MuleSoft''s Anypoint platform - Anypoint Studio, Cloudhub, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Design Centre, etcsubstantial software development experience, with software integration and /or other ESB experience being a mustexperience leveraging continuous integration and continuous deployment as part of the development lifecycle including tools such as mUnit, GIT, Jenkins, Mavenexperience with REST and SOAP APIs, RAML, and use of connectors for integration, API led connectivity as well as file-based interfaces (SFTP & FTP)working knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, etcsolid understanding of SOA and API design principles, integration patterns, and best practices including messaging systemseffective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders and clients.flexible working options to support you to balance your work and familystaff study benefit on selected University of Sydney postgraduate coursework studiesonsite healthcare general practitioner (GP) services to all staffaccess to fitness passport, as well as discounted rates on university sports and fitness centres.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaWork Rights: you must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
