Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$135,000.00/yr - A$140,000.00/yrDirect message the job poster from dentsudentsu is a network designed for whats next, helping clients predict and plan for disruptive future opportunities and create new paths to growth in the sustainable economy through five global leadership brands; Carat, Dentsu Creative, dentsu X, iProspect and Merkle, each with deep specialisms.Operating in over 145 markets worldwide with more than 46,000 dedicated specialists and partnering with 95 of the top 100 global advertisers our collective vision is to be at the forefront of people-centred transformations that shape society.We are now excited to invite applications for the role of Commercial Finance Business Partner - Media with our awesome team in Sydney.Applicants based in Melbourne also considered.The role:As our next Commercial Finance BP, you will play a critical role in partnering with business leaders in our Media practice, and overseeing forecasting and month-end processes for this business unit.Given the complexity of the Media practise, we are looking for someone with experience working in media agency previously this is imperative to ensure success in this role.Core responsibilities:Assist with the practice level forecasting process, ensuring accurate and timely financial projectionsDevelop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting activitiesAnalyse variances between actual results and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actionsAct as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial insights and recommendationsOversee the management of business unit costs, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and strategic goalsAnalyse cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvementsCollaborate with various departments to understand their financial needs and challengesSupport strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and modellingA bit about you:Experience in a BP role in Media Agency with strong working knowledge of the media industry.Demonstrated high commercial acumen, to support business leaders on strategic initiativesAbility to support the FP&A function on planning, reporting and analysisEager to support strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and modelling, and recommendationsExcellent commercial nous and enjoy corporate cultureExperience with reviewing business practices and identify areas for improvement.Enjoy implementing changes and improvements in reporting and planning practices in line with Finance roadmap.Become a champion for meaningful progress:Our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so.
