Your mission will be to:Provide strategic leadership and governance, working closely with the Board to ensure effective oversight and alignment with the organisations visionDeliver financial and operational excellenceDrive measurable improvements in health Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and long-term health outcomesChampion culturally sensitive healthcare servicesStrengthen community engagement and build sustainable partnershipsKey Responsibilities:Lead and support the Clinic Manager, overseeing clinical services including General Practitioners, Remote Area Nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Chronic Disease and Child & Maternal Health Nurses.Guide the Health Programmes Manager, who leads programmes addressing Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), Mens and Womens Health, Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS), Social and Emotional Wellbeing, and NutritionOversee the Corporate Services team responsible for Finance, Administration, Human Resources, and Facilities ManagementEnsure strong financial management, governance, and compliance with funding and reporting obligationsBuild and maintain meaningful relationships with community stakeholders and government agenciesLead workforce development, including recruitment, training, and performance managementAbout YouYou are a resilient and compassionate leader with a passion for community health and improving outcomes in remote Aboriginal communities.
