This position involves the provision of Podiatry services to community based clients (Community Health, Commonwealth Home Support, Home and Community Care Program for Younger People and NDIS) of the Baw Baw Shire, in accordance with agreed targets. Service provision is required within local aged care facilities and within acute wards as required. This position includes provision of clinically sound podiatry services within a clinic settings and occasional home visits; managing clinical /service delivery environments; providing appropriate supervision and support to foot care nurses and students, and participating in presentations to a variety of groups.We have up to 76 hours per fortnight available for this permanent full time or part time position, offering a great foot-in-the-door opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive team environment and enjoy the benefits of flexible working arrangements and much more!Our preferred candidate will have:Bachelor of Podiatry (or equivalent qualification)Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Current Drivers LicenseA thorough understanding and respect for confidentiality requirementsPrevious clinical experience in a Community Health or aged and disability settingIMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies).
