Learn more about working at Avive:.About the Role:We are seeking a Sr. Director, Finance, reporting to our CFO, to lead our Finance team and serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership. This role is vital in supporting our rapid growth through effective financial reporting and analysis. Key responsibilities include:Leading financial planning and analysis functions.Collaborating with the CFO and CEO to enhance long-range forecasting aligned with strategic goals.Developing and managing annual operating plans (budgets) with timely, insightful reporting.Overseeing monthly financial reviews with leadership.Partnering with Business Operations on data reporting and dashboards.Managing cost accounting to optimize margins.Driving improvements in business systems and processes.Handling revenue recognition in partnership with sales and accounting.Balancing strategic and operational priorities to develop world-class FP&A support.Who You Are:10-15+ years of high-growth FP&A experience, preferably in medical devices or FDA-regulated environments.Skilled in building and scaling FP&A functions, with a hands-on approach.Strong expertise in data analysis and financial systems implementation.Proficient in complex forecasting models, BI tools, and financial planning platforms.Strategic thinker with attention to detail.Able to manage big-picture initiatives and ensure high-quality outputs.Growth mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable building systems amidst evolving priorities.Excellent communicator and collaborator.Capable of engaging stakeholders and earning trust.Team-oriented with positive energy.Requirements:Experience with medical device companies or FDA-regulated environments during commercialization.Experience with hardware and inventory businesses.Proficiency with NetSuite ERP (preferred).Advanced Excel financial modeling skills.Experience with financial planning systems like Hyperion or Adaptive.Data warehouse experience (e.g., Looker, Snowflake) (preferred).Knowledge of US GAAP accounting.Equal Employment Opportunity:We are committed to providing equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
