This role also involves managing our vessels and maintaining ongoing client relationships, with the potential for equity share as the company continues its growth. Backed by a sister tech business, we are introducing several innovative platforms to assist in sales and marketing efforts as we expand both through acquisitions and organic growth in the marine sector.Responsibilities:Drive direct sales by sourcing new clients, closing deals, and managing client relationships throughout the sales process.Lead, manage, and grow a sales team to achieve company sales targets and objectives.Develop and implement sales strategies for business growth, ensuring a balance of both direct sales and team performance.Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the vessels, ensuring optimal presentation and availability for clients.Foster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring continued satisfaction and repeat business.Integrate and leverage technology platforms to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts.Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies accordingly and maintain a competitive edge.Provide regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management.Work closely with the management team to ensure seamless operations and collaboration across the business.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in marine brokerage or marine sales, with a proven track record in direct sales and team management.Experience in managing vessels, client accounts, and building long-lasting relationships in the marine industry.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team while managing personal sales targets.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with a wide range of clients and stakeholders.Strategic thinking and ability to adapt to new business models and technologies.A deep understanding of the marine industry, including product knowledge, market trends, and customer needs.Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing company while balancing direct sales, team management, and operational duties.Remuneration:Competitive salary, reflective of experience and responsibilities.Performance-based incentives and bonuses.Opportunity for equity share in the company based on performance and contribution to business growth.About Boats International:Boats International is a family-run marine brokerage .
