For over 70 years, we have been trusted to deliver market leading returns and to provide financial solutions that make dreams into reality.The OpportunityAs part of the Finance division of La Trobe Financial, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the Corporate Financial Control team to ensure integrity of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements and implementation of effective internal controls of the corporate entities that underpin the Group.The corporate entities you will be responsible for include the servicer, trust manager and capital provider of the La Trobe Financial Group including any external debt requirements. As such, this role requires someone with strong communication skills as you will be working across a broad range of stakeholders throughout the organisation.You will lead the Accounts Payable / Commissions Payable functions and manage IT Capitalisation, HR Spend and General Expense Reporting programs. You will work closely with our Head of Tax to ensure accuracy and completeness of record keeping and group corporate ATO payments. You will have a key role in managing the relationship with our external Auditors and co-ordinate the planning and delivery of half-year and annual financial reporting cycle.This role reports to the Director of Corporate Finance with your primary focus being leading a team of finance professionals, working closely with senior management.
