The role involves providing consulting services within a multidisciplinary team, requiring extensive experience in finance or accounting within the mining industry. The candidate should have a deep understanding of mining project evaluation, investment decision-making, and prior experience with mining project construction and cost control.The successful candidate will have on-site experience at mines in financial, cost control, or project departments, with consulting experience being advantageous. This role offers the opportunity to work on various mining projects globally, collaborate with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, and gain exposure to both technical and financial aspects of mining. It is ideally based in Brisbane, with remote options considered, and involves some domestic and international travel.RPMGlobal Advisory has been acquired by SLR Consulting Australia, and this role will transition to SLR as part of the divestment process.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct technical reviews of global consulting projects, including pre-feasibility studies, technical reports, and due diligence.Provide financial reviews and prepare expert reports.Offer expert advice on financial and commercial aspects, financial modeling, governance, risk management, and business planning.Ensure client requirements are clearly defined and met within scope and timeline.Develop leads and follow up on opportunities.Assist in proposal planning and preparation.Contribute to technical development within the company.Manage projects efficiently, acting as Project Manager, Project Director, or technical expert as needed.Collaborate with clients from project initiation to delivery, maintaining engagement.Prepare and review reports, present outcomes to clients.Build and maintain professional relationships across all levels.Expand RPMs client network within the mining industry.About YouRelevant tertiary qualifications and experience in finance, accounting, or mining industry commercial roles.Membership of a professional accounting body (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) or equivalent accreditation.Significant experience as a project manager or finance/commercial manager in the mining sector, including senior operational or technical consulting roles.Knowledge of EPC/EPCM projects and their financial aspects globally.Experience in senior finance roles within mining, including onsite and consulting roles at multiple mines.Skills in budgeting, planning, and financial modeling.Excellent report writing, presentation skills, and ability to communicate complex solutions effectively.Strong command of English, team-oriented, and willing to learn.Legal right to work in Australia.#J-18808-Ljbffr
