Key Responsibilities:1. Safety FirstDemonstrate commitment to workplace health and safety for yourself and others, ensuring fitness for duty at all times.Drive compliance with Safety in Design (SiD) and Sustainability in Design (SuiD) frameworks throughout the project lifecycle.Actively engage in and promote the Safety Culture as outlined in the Engineering Safety Framework.Ensure technical documentation and deliverables demonstrate alignment with internal safety standards.2. Engineering CapabilityAct as a multi-disciplinary Design Manager, guiding internal teams to deliver accurate, timely, and value-driven technical outputs.Plan and manage effective design delivery across multiple projects while considering other operational factors (WHS, stakeholder input, water quality, etc.).Establish clear expectations and timelines for deliverables, and ensure technical outputs adhere to quality assurance processes and internal standards.Monitor and report on time extensions and cost variations, ensuring deliverables are aligned with approved budgets and schedules.3. Customer ServiceCollaborate with Engineering Delivery, Studies, and Solutions teams to define scopes of work and accurate cost breakdowns.Meet cost, schedule, and quality benchmarks as defined in the Service Agreement Forms.Provide timely, efficient, and effective technical design services to meet stakeholder needs.Clearly communicate technical risks, costs, and schedule impacts to support informed decision-making.4. People and CultureDevelop a personal development plan in partnership with the Manager Engineering Delivery to drive performance and growth.Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure collaborative project outcomes.Promote a knowledge-sharing culture and actively participate in team discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.5.
