These roles are ideal for capable HR practitioners seeking to step into strategic advisory positions, working closely with business leaders to deliver impactful people solutions.These arediverse and influential rolesrequiring strong business partnering experience, deep knowledge of employee and industrial relations, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments. Experience within the Queensland Government or similarly structured environments will be highly regarded.Key Responsibilities:As a Senior HR Business Partner / Advisor, you will:Provide expert HR advice across workforce planning, performance, change management, and capability development.Manage complex employee relations matters including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions.Partner with business leaders to deliver strategic HR support aligned to departmental priorities.Interpret industrial instruments, policies, and legislation to support decision-making and compliance.Leverage workforce analytics to identify risks and develop proactive, data-informed solutions.Support the design and implementation of initiatives that enhance leadership capability and culture.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, unions, and specialist HR functions.Contribute to broader people and culture projects and foster continuous improvement.About You:To be successful in this role, you will bring:Proven experience in a senior HR advisory, business partnering, or ER-focused role in a complex organisation.Sound knowledge of Queensland Government employment frameworks or equivalent IR legislation.Strong case management experience and confidence dealing with sensitive people matters.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft high-quality documentation.A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and the ability to influence at all levels.Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or similar (highly regarded).Whats on offer?A key role in a high-performing, supportive HR teamOpportunity to make a real impact on workforce strategy and outcomesHybrid working arrangements and excellent hourly ratesContract until 30 June 2025, with strong extension prospectsHow to apply:Please submit an up-to-date resume via theApply Nowbutton.For any further information, reach out toSam Rubinoatsamr@sixdegreesexecutive.com.au .Six Degrees Executive acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live.
