Federal Government Role12 months contract + 12 months extensionLocation: Canberra, Brisbane, MelbourneBaseline Security Clearance requiredAboutBridge IT Engineering is seeking aContent and Communications Advisorfor our Federal Government client. Content Strategists develop a content strategy that steers the creation of unambiguous, meaningful, cohesive, engaging, and sustainable content. They focus on the planning, structure, process, creation, delivery, and governance of content.Key duties and responsibilitiesParticipate in the design, development, planning and implementation of multi-channel and user-centred strategic communication activity that supports the client''s transformation narrative and aligns the modernisation programs and projects to this narrative;Deliver high-quality, professional and user-centric communication materials that align with the client''s style manual and Australian Government Style Manual;Create, edit, review and refine communication material such as intranet pages, news item, newsletters, flyers, factsheets, videos scripts, presentations, and talking points;Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders enabling you to effectively communicate, collaborate, negotiate and manage expectations;Design and deliver communication needs discovery sessions and analyse the communication needs of the Group, the Branches and Sections;Report to the leadership team on communication effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative data; andActively seek ways to improve communication across the Group and the agency.Essential criteriaExperience using a user-centred design approach in the development and execution of communication strategy and activity plans.Proven ability to managing the successful implementation of communication strategy and activity plans, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Proven experience applying organisation style guides to written and visual communication materialsStrong writing, editing and proofreading experience, combined with expert language skill, enabling you to create material that will inspire our stakeholders and translate complex and technical information into easy-to-understand messages, in addition to a proven ability to effectively engage and work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, and to provide specialist advice and guidance to relevant stakeholders as requiredProficiency in using key Microsoft 365 productivity applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, alongside experience in using Microsoft collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Teams as effective communication and engagement channels for internal stakeholdersProven experience in managing the creation and maintenance of intranet pages and applying a user-centred design approachKnowledge and experience in communication project management, including multi-tasking, setting priorities for competing deadlines and delivering results on timeDesirable criteriaBasic knowledge and experience in creating visual communication materials through applications within the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.Experience using photography and videography equipment and basic editing software.Experience delivering communication to support change management activity on medium to large scale projects.Your ICT Recruiter for this roleHaitham Hamidhaitham.hamid@bridgeite.com*Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted#J-18808-Ljbffr
