As the Executive Director - Policy Planning and Innovation, you will provide the Minister, Director General and the Department''s Corporate Executive with high-level advice on skills, training and workforce development policy issues and options. This pivotal role provides professional leadership by actively promoting strategies, policies and systems that provide strategic direction for the Policy, Planning and Innovation Directorate. In this influential position, you will lead the development and implementation of a workforce development framework for the State, contribute to national policy issues for skills and training, and formulate strategic policy options to advise the Minister on VET system priorities and performance. As a member of the Corporate Executive, you will shape the Department''s strategic direction while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the VET sector and industry. The Department supports the Public SectorsLeadership Expectations,which provide a common understanding of mindsets and expected behaviours. The successful candidate should demonstrateExecutive Leaderbehaviours. Your ability to display these mindsets and expected behaviours will be assessed during the recruitment and selection process.
