MBP Constructions is a reputable, family-owned carpentry business based in Diggers Rest. We specialise in residential renovations, extensions, and a variety of carpentry services, including framing, lock-up and fix, bathrooms, kitchens, decking, and pergolas. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional service. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Carpenter to join our growing team and gain hands-on experience in a diverse range of carpentry projects.Key Responsibilities:Assist with carpentry tasks across a variety of renovation and extension projects, including framing, lock-up, and fix stages.Work on the construction and installation of decks, pergolas, and other outdoor structures.Assist with the installation of kitchens, bathrooms, and custom cabinetry.Work closely with experienced carpenters to learn and apply best practices in all areas of carpentry.Assist with the preparation and installation of structural elements, doors, windows, and flooring.Ensure the job site is kept clean, organised, and safe at all times.Adhere to all safety protocols and construction site regulations.Qualifications and Skills:No prior experience required; accepting 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year apprentices.Interest in carpentry and the construction industry.Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Valid drivers license (preferred but not essential).What We Offer:Comprehensive on-the-job training and mentoring from experienced carpenters.Exposure to a wide variety of projects, including home renovations, extensions, kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor carpentry.Opportunities for skill development.A friendly and supportive work environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
