But your patch also includes aquaculture on the Kimberleys far northern coast through to the enormous cattle stations in our amazing regions centre and west.The JobYou will be responsible for:Creating rural and primary industry content for multiple platforms to engage local and national audiences.Preparing and presenting content for the daily Rural Report and Country Hour.Using your expertise to educate the local and national audience about Australias rural and primary industries.Contributing to planning and commissioning processes to develop and distribute new content ideas to achieve strong reach and engagement with audiences.The role involves travelling in remote locations, as required.An experienced journalist, you''ll have an in-depth understanding of the issues facing rural and remote Australia, with a strong understanding of rural and regional issues that affect and interest the local audience.Your skills and experience include:Experience sourcing stories, analysing information and sound judgement and editorial skills.Demonstrated creativity to in story construction and delivery.Experience in live presentations and broadcasts is welcome.What we can offer you:15.4% ABC Nominated Super.Paid parental, carer''s and supporting partner leave.Salary packaging.About ABC NewsQuality journalism, powerful investigations, outstanding production, and a collaborative, engaged and supportive workplace that offers opportunities and career development across regional and metropolitan Australia.
