As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods and contributing to the overall success of our bakery operations.Prepare a wide variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts, ensuring consistent quality and presentationDevelop and test new recipes to expand our bakery offerings and keep up with current trendsManage daily production schedules and coordinate with other kitchen sections to meet customer demandsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standardsTrain and supervise junior staff members in baking techniques and proceduresMonitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as neededCollaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal menus and special promotionsEnsure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished productsAssist in cost control measures by minimizing waste and optimizing ingredient usageParticipate in menu planning and pricing discussions with the management teamQualificationsMinimum 2-3 years of experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen settingCulinary degree or diploma in baking and pastry arts preferredProven expertise in various baking techniques and production of a wide range of baked goodsStrong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with current food safety certificationExcellent attention to detail and consistency in product qualityProficiency in using and maintaining bakery equipment and toolsCreative mindset with the ability to develop innovative recipes and presentationsStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentTeam player with excellent communication and collaboration skillsPhysical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessaryBasic math skills for recipe calculations and inventory managementFlexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as requiredPassion for baking and commitment to delivering high-quality products #J-18808-Ljbffr
