Add expected salary to your profile for insightsThe Role:Great opportunity to join our regional transport depot in Bundaberg in a dual role, requiring both forklift operation and TUG truck driving. The ideal candidate would need a unique mix of versatility, safety awareness, and adaptability.Your main responsibilities will include:Loading and unloading vehicles.Moving freight to and from storage areas.Load trucks in accordance with the load sheet.Use stabilisation equipment as required.Set and check fridge motor temperatures prior to vehicle departure.Load dry, fresh, refrigerated, and frozen freight onto trailers for distribution.Drive the Tug Truck around the depot.Hook and unhook trailers.Back singles.Coordinate and communicate with drivers within the yard.About You:Valid HC and MC driver licences with proven driving experience.Current forklift licence with practical experience.Experience with TUG driving (training provided if needed).Familiarity with Swing Lifts (or willingness to learn).Knowledge of refrigerated transport, including chilled and frozen freight.Experience in warehouse operations, including pick packing, stocktaking, and loading/unloading trucks.Understanding of transport documentation and basic compliance requirements.Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (preferred).Reliable, punctual, and strong communication skills.Committed to workplace health and safety (essential).What we offer:Career development opportunities in a growing organisation.A family-oriented company culture that values safety, support, and inclusivity.
