This position is community facing and has a broad and varied range of responsibilities including maintaining the appearance and presentation of residences and shared spaces, resident enquiries, and customer service.This is an ideal role for someone keen to commence a career in property / facilities maintenance with on-the-job training and ongoing mentoring and support. This role has some physical requirements including light cleaning and maintenance and some light lifting (up to 10kg).In order to provide service to our residents, our onsite teams work a rotating roster. As such, rostered days are Sunday through Thursday, 10am 6pm, with days off on Friday and Saturday.JOB DESCRIPTIONKey responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness throughout the community, including waste removal and bin management.Assist with apartment make-ready processes and ensure vacant units remain market-ready.Respond to maintenance queries, complete minor repairs, and support compliance checks.Distribute notices, parcels, and communications to residents.Conduct weekly safety checks, including fire alarm testing and emergency lighting.Support move-in/move-out procedures and furniture relocation.Report hazards and comply with health and safety policies.Skills required for success:Maintenance and cleaning skills.Basic knowledge of building systems and operations.Ability to lift and move heavy objects.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Experience in a similar role is advantageous.Helpful and friendly manner, professional and courteous with both residents and colleagues.Ability to obtain a favourable National Criminal History Check and Working with Children check.Greystar is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.
