Your role at St John of God Health Care GeelongTo provide Supply Services to the St John of God Geelong Hospital. Picking, packing and despatching of orders, servicing Imprest stores and the receipting and distribution of incoming goods to the wards and departments.The PositionAdherence at all times to the receipting and distribution procedures.Acceptance and checking of goods received at Geelong Hospital.Assist with the unloading of goods when required using appropriate materials handling aids/equipment Walkie Stacker, Pallet Movers, Trolleys etc.Check incoming goods against the couriers/carriers running sheet or consignment notes for consignee details, quantity and condition of parcels.Ensure deliveries are correct relating to quantity, quality and specification, conforming to the details and conditions on the Purchase Order.Accurately receipting orders in the computerised supply system and processing/filing paperwork/documentation such as packing slip/invoices and receipt reports.Ordering Imprest supplies for wards & departments within the SJG Geelong Hospital using a scanning device to record required replenishment quantitiesDeliver Imprest orders to the wards & departments within the SJG Geelong Hospital campuses to replenish imprest stockCheck each item against the delivery advice for accuracy and place in the correct location within each imprest storage area, restocking shelves.Rotation of stock to ensure first in, first out (FIFO) (and/or nearest expiry date).Handle and store goods correctly to comply with clinical and infectious control standards.You will have high-level verbal and written communication skills, a demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage priorities and maintain performance at a high level within allocated time schedules along with basic mathematical skills to determine and verify stock quantities, prices and volume of goods.To succeed you will possess a valid drivers license and basic computer skills, along with physical capability to perform all functions required by this position.Above all, people will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values.We can offer youCasual hourly rate: $36.48 to $37.53 plus 11.5% superannuationCasual positionBased at St John of God Geelong HospitalSalary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:Novated leasingwork related expensesself-education andadditional superannuationA welcoming and supportive cultureDiscounts on hospital services and health insuranceFor enquiries contact Aaron Bridgborn, Operations Manager, Group Supply Logistics, Eastern Region on 0429 302 957Applications Close: 01/06/2025St John of God Health Care embraces diversity and strongly encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and people with disabilities.
