Employment type: Part timeHours per week: 17.5Remuneration: Band 4L salary from $ 75,802 per annum (pro-rata) plus superannuationLocation: This role may be required to work across multiple locations throughout the Wyndham MunicipalityAbout the roleThe Library Programs and Support Officer position is a fantastic opportunity to join Wyndhams libraries in providing high quality library and information services to our library visitors.Reporting to the Truganina Library Lounge Branch Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with regular collection maintenance duties and for providing administrative support to the branch. You will also need to be prepared to undergo training in program delivery and to deliver weekly programs, for varied age groups. Some examples of our programs are pre-school story times, code club for young people, and English Conversation Club for adults. During rostered desk shifts you may also be a designated Team Leader, providing guidance and support to other staff.This role is very diverse, and you will be able to gain skills and knowledge in many different areas of public library work. A perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, or who is wishing to see what area of Librarianship they may choose to specialise in.
