Ventia is currently seeking Grounds Persons to join their team to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of Grounds Maintenance services across Defence sites in Darwin, NT. This role involves working as part of a small team to maintain and enhance the appearance of Defence Bases at all times.We are happy to provide full training for individuals with the right attitude! The pay rate is $32 per hour.ResponsibilitiesUndertake safety checks before starting workService equipment prior to useOperate and maintain equipment according to the Operators Manual and maintenance schedulesMaintain gardens and lawns as directedParticipate in general labouring tasks at grounds, building, and plumbing sites as directedRegularly clean vehicles, grounds equipment, machinery, and tools used during service deliverySkills and ExperienceExperience working outdoors in hot environmentsAbility to work well within a teamValid Australian Drivers Licence and transportationWillingness to undergo and successfully complete an Australian Police CheckYou must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence security clearance to be eligible for these positions.About VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company operating across Australia and New Zealand.
