Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position forms part of a small team that is responsible for the fabrication, repairs and maintenance of the feedlot and farm infrastructure.Your key responsibilities will include:Reading and interpreting drawingsFabrication, installation and repairs to machinery and infrastructure to a high standardCutting, shaping and joining metal components using welding, brazing and other metal working techniquesEnsuring all finished products meet specificationsCollaborating with the supervisor to optimize workflows and troubleshoot issuesMaintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety requirementsAbout YouRelevant Trade qualification in Boilermaking or WeldingDemonstrated proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG and stick weldingAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to identify and resolve issuesStrong attention to detailCommitment to delivering high quality workGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work autonomously as well as within a team environmentAbility to work safely and adhere to all relevant health and safety requirementsInterested?
