As a Leading Hand, you will be responsible for ensuring the completion of the project on or under time, maintaining a safe site, and delivering a quality product to the client. Projects will include minor civil infrastructure works and urban development projects.DutiesThorough understanding of OHS and environmental requirementsArrangement of plant, labour, and material resources for the projectDirection and monitoring of sub-contractors, suppliers, and plant hirersControl of survey requirementsDaily monitoring of activity costsMonitor compliance with safety and environmental requirementsMaintain compliance with the construction programReport all non-conformances and assist with recommendations for remedial workMaintain a daily record of site activitiesEnsure client quality expectations are met or exceeded (in accordance with specifications)Skills and qualificationsCertificate III in Civil ConstructionProven leadership skillsThorough knowledge of drawings, specifications, and quality requirements for site activitiesExperience in minor civil infrastructure works and/or urban development projectsStrong teamwork skillsProven ability to deliver high-quality construction projects within budget and schedule constraintsExperience in shoringPipelaying experience is highly regardedJoin our team, be yourself, and help us power futures and create legacies.We are a purpose and values-led business guided by family, empowerment, collaboration, and drive.
