Join to apply for the Office Manager / Bookkeeper role at Horner Recruitment1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Office Manager / Bookkeeper role at Horner RecruitmentGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Direct message the job poster from Horner RecruitmentExciting opportunity to join a growing aviation industry business by taking responsibility for a diverse mix of accounts, admin and customer support functions.About MONZ AviationMONZ has been in operation for more than 20 years and has become one of New Zealand and Australia''s leading suppliers of aviation and defence industry products.A family-owned business, MONZ has a dedicated team of staff at its Tullamarine office who provide a range of product sales and service support to the company''s Australian customers.About the RoleIn this position you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounts, administration and customer support functions of the MONZ Tullamarine office.Duties will include:Process product orders received from customers via email and phone, provide quotes and arrange shipment of goods.Accounts Receivables and Payables functions using Xero software.Fully manage fortnightly payroll processing for small team of employees (using Xero).Review Xero Activity Statements and PAYG and prepare for filing.Filing of all administrative documents including reports, reconciliations and receipts.Set up customer accounts including requesting credit application forms and checking credit references.Debtor control including contacting late-paying customers.Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records including updating pricing and stock levels in Xero and ordering new stock.Hours of work: 8:30am to 4pm Monday to Friday (in office).About YouPrevious experience carrying out accounts receivable, payable and payroll functions.Experience using Xero or similar accounting software.Clear and confident communication skills suitable for customer service.Strong eye for detail and ability to juggle competing priorities.Friendly personality and ability to work well in a small team environment.Ability to work autonomously and take the initiative when required.Permanent fulltime position with exciting and well-established business servicing the aviation and defence industries.Opportunity to make the role your own and recommend and implement process improvements.Stable office hours.Car parking and caf on site.To be considered for this exciting career opportunity, click the ''Apply'' button to upload your resume.If you require a confidential discussion about the role, please call Ben Hutchison at Horner Recruitment on 0409 940 302.At Horner we recognise the value of a diverse workforce and the creation of inclusive workforce cultures.
