Add expected salary to your profile for insights.About the Program Manager Family Foundations roleThe Program Manager Family Foundations is part of the Child, Youth and Family team and is responsible for managing the Family Foundations program across the ACT. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to creating a safe and inclusive environment where the rights, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people are prioritized within our Child, Youth and Family program portfolio. The scope includes:Family Foundations Early Parenting Support ProgramWraparound Support Program in partnership with Ginninderra Early Childhood CentrePlaygroupsThis is a full-time ongoing position based at 26 Chandler Street, Belconnen, with occasional work at other locations.The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Leading and developing a teamClinical and practice oversightReporting and data analysisProgram evaluation and social outcome measurementDeveloping and monitoring work instructions, best practice, and safe work guidelinesQuality audits, improvement plans, and achieving quality standardsSupervision and performance developmentFeedback and complaints managementSafety and risk managementSelection Criteria:Tertiary qualification in human services, early childhood, or relevant discipline (e.g., social work, psychology, counselling), with membership or registration through relevant professional bodies (e.g., AHPRA).Experience in child development and early parenting support for families with children aged 0-5.Knowledge of family work practices such as Trauma-Informed Practice, strengths-based, and family-centred approaches.Understanding of mental health, developmental issues, and their impact on children and adolescents.Experience working with vulnerable families.Ability to lead a team in meeting Child Safe Standards and respecting cultural, spiritual, and diversity needs.High-level skills in managing financial and human resources.Current Working with Vulnerable People registration and a satisfactory Criminal History Check, renewed every three years.Valid drivers license and access to a registered, insured vehicle for work purposes.Willingness to undertake additional employment screening as required.Workplace benefits include:Discounted early education and care services15 days personal leave and 17.5% annual leave loadingSalary packaging options up to $15,900 plus $2,650 for meal and entertainment allowancesAdditional leave days between Christmas and New YearSupport for professional developmentAccess to Employee Assistance ProgramDiversity and inclusionWe welcome applications from diverse backgrounds, including: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples LGBTIQ+ community Culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds Carers Mature age individuals People with lived experience of disabilityAbout CRCSCapital Region Community Services (CRCS) offers a range of high-quality, inclusive programs supporting individuals, families, children, and young people in the Belconnen and wider Capital Region.
